Cities Credit Union accepts donations on behalf of Second Chance in its office. Second Chance is in need of:

• Cat litter
• Leashes and collars
• Dog and cat toys, treats
• Gift cards from Target. Petco, Fleet Farm, Chuck & Don’s

Wanted – Used Cell Phones
Have you purchased a new cell phone lately? Don’t know what to do with your old phone? Drop if off at Cities and your old cell phone can actually help save a life. The Qwest Pioneers, a volunteer group made up of retired and current telephone employees, are collecting old cell phones for their E-Z HELP Cell Phones for Seniors Project.

Please
drop your old cell phones (and chargers if available) the credit union, and the Pioneers will re-program them to make outgoing 911 calls only. These phones are then delivered to area senior centers and other needy organizations. All of your phone's memory is erased before the phones are delivered. For more information, visit
www.mnpioneers.com.

Cities Employees Deliver Meals On Wheels
Employees at Cities Credit Union have kept busy with a route Cities adopted earlier this year with the White Bear Lake Meals On Wheels Program. Every Thursday, employees of Cities Credit Union deliver meals to individuals in the community who are unable to manage their own food preparation. Meals On Wheels, a White Bear Area Senior Program, delivers hot nutritious meals Monday through Friday during the noon hour.

The Senior Program also provides transportation with the Lionmobile, taking individuals to medical appointments and grocery shopping. Other programs include Senior Connection (Outreach, Intergeneration, LionsHELP and Spring/Fall Cleanup programs) and the Senior Center Activities.

If you would like to get involved or would like more information contact the Senior Program at 651-653-3121.
